Love there salads, and lunch plate

Just got back from here. Ordered a grande avocado chicken bowl and when I looked in the bag, there was no chicken. I didn't give it back though. I always worry that someone will spit in my food if I do that, and the food was still good, but yeah. I missed the chicken for sure. This place seems kinda out of order sometimes. Sometimes 2 different people are taking your order at the drive thru, making it confusing for the 3rd person at the window who you pay.

We had the couples half chicken meal. The chicken was excellent, grilled and very moist. Disappointed the green salad didn't have avocado.

Great healthy food for a great price. I had the chicken avocado wrap because I'm allergic to beans. It was more food than I could eat.

Had to order tostada because they ran out of chicken legs breasts for dinner deals. This was at 5PM. What gives?

Good flavor, good service at the location in Folsom. I stopped going to the location nearest me as I felt quality had gone down. But, I will go back to this location.

I got a four peace dinner with black beans and Cole slaw. They threw in some broccoli. You have a bunch of choices for sides. It was great

Food was very good, but I am not sure it should take 15 minutes to get it in an empty restaurant.

El Pollo Loco double chicken avocado salad is really good. This location is friendly and fast service.

Came in on a Thursday night, there were maybe 4 other customers in the restaurant. The young lady demonstrated difficulty taking our order with mild specifications. There were staff members without uniforms working and the back kitchen presented unorganized. [Picture] The restroom and salsa bar needed attention. One item of our order was incorrect and cold, but points for the staff resolving the error quickly. Hope to see improvements upon next visit

Love this place... not a big chicken lover but love yours and beans are to die for.

Good service good food

I gave 1Star so I could review this place, after all the wrong orders, missed items, this time my wife ordered tostada salads, hers came with a large piece of, what would say, under liner paper waited up in the salad, yes!.... we will never eat at this location again, and are calling to complain to there corporate office, this is unforgivable.....

Tasty but not much chicken on the bones.

This is the 2nd time I've been to this location and the chicken was so overdone, it was extremely Dry, it was either cooked too long or sat too long, the wings were just shriveled up skin on bone. Very dissapointed, the tea was also not fresh. We ended up throwing away the whole 4 piece meal.

Tasty food. No vegan options .but they are ready to provide the dishes without meat. Portions are bit smaller for heavy hungry stomach

Chicken delicious as always, but stay away from the pinto beans as a side. Way too much water (broth?) even after warning them about my previous carry out when it was pretty much bean soup!

I enjoy the food here but for some reason every time I visit my order is missing something. It has happened on three different occasions now. Like I said, the food is good, but make sure you double check your order!

Food is always good but the restaurant is dirty. At least 75% of their table were empty and all of them dirty. All the customers have to clean the tables before you can sit down. They pull the full garbage from inside the eating area and take it through the kitchen to take it out to the dumpster. Then back into the kitchen and back to the restaurant area.

Hit and miss at the Folsom location...more miss most of the time

Nicest crew and always great quality food.

They really skimped out on the portion sizes. The salads were super small, and my husbands tacos were more corn tortillas with a hint of meat. Our usual El Pollo Loco spot is so much better

Consistent with the chain, good quality chicken! Burritos are good, and their salads are good low carb options. The 20 dollar family meal is a great value! This is a convenient in and out location.

Love the black bean Bowl less than 500 calories and it has all the kado in it which my heart loves recently diagnosed with heart failure and realized I had to change the ways I eat no more fast food but El Pollo Loco has exactly what I need

I had the over stuffed chicken quesadilla. I was pleasantly surprised with the good taste of the chicken, fresh avocado, and crunchy diced cabbage. Salsas and pico were very good as well. Recommend!

For the second time in a row the kid at the reg couldn't get the order right after taking over 5 mins and having to ring up twice cause he had to add an extra taco. Never got the taco so asked the guy who didn't even take my order said"you didn't order a taco" I said excuse me I just had to order it twice and he tells me " no you thought you ordered"... I flipped and then charged me after waiting over ten mins in an empty restaurant. Then after explaining to the manager who asked whats wrong he does nothing! I will never step foot again. I don't understand how this place is still in business. Got home to see this poor excuse for the saltiest chicken I have ever had in my life. I wouldn't feed it to my dogs.

The chicken has a very strange smell sometimes.. I will not be returning

Great grilled chicken. Good food. Good customer service. Clean & maintained building.

The food was amazing until I went to go get sour cream. When I went to go get it they were basically out, so I went into the front and asked for some. Next thing I knew the lady was scoping the sour cream with her bare hands (no gloves)! I told the lady that is gross and asked for a new one. The lady then responds that she had just washed her hands, and that she was so sorry. I can’t help but wonder if she or others have done the same thing before.

food is always fresh and tasty here. The bowls are pretty good value and include vegetables. Online ordering worked--our first time using that here, and got our "special requests" right. Lots of places mess those up when you are in person. Folks seem intelligent and place appears clean.

Pretty clean. Good food. Terrible service. And they have a fly problem. There were flies everywhere. Made me wonder where those things were hatching from. Good horchata.

Place is nice and clean

I was made to feel like a fool, and waited at least 3 minutes just to get an extra cup for sides. The service was bad and it felt like the cashier was high.

Horrible always out of chicken and have to wait 20 to 30 min always during dinner rush time way un prepared

Came there with a buddy. There was a new kid on the register. My buddy was messing around trying to get a $1 off and even called the manager over. Both were very nice and patient. Our food was good. The restaurant was clean. Very good experience.

Long wait, poorly trained staff and order is wrong (after I got home)...

Slowest service ever. Do not come here. It took over 30 mins with 2 cars in-front of us

Pretty good chicken for a quick serve restaurant. The employees were friendly and answered my questions without seeming hassled. Would recommend and will return.

I came here for lunch and let me say the best lunch I had in a long time!! I ordered 2pc all thighs chicken meal and the chicken was cooked to perfection juicy and skin was crisp. I also got the baja shrimp taco,that taco is to die for great combination with the sauce and fresh salsa and pico. Service was super friendly and fast. I will be coming here way more often!! I've seen a big improvement in this store over the last couple months. My favorite place to eat once again.

The family dinner is a good value and healthy vs fried chicken

Horrible services all around . Walked in on a Monday night while this young staff was working. Horrible customer service and also messed up on my order, shorting me on everything! Never going back again! Very rude employees all standing and joking around
